Role summary

This position is ideal for senior-level Developer Tools or DevOps professionals to join the Developer Productivity Engineering Group as a Senior Developer Productivity Engineer, supporting rollout, administration, maintenance, and automation of internal developer tools such as Version Control Systems, CI/CD platforms, Artifact management solutions, Project Management and Issue Tracking tools. Partnering with Cloud & Platform engineering, Software engineering, IT, and Security teams, you’ll provide critical system support and workflow automation to enhance development productivity, ensure tool reliability, and improve user experience. This role is essential to enabling fast, secure, and scalable software development across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Role expectations

• Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise instances of Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory and GitHub EMU.
• Respond to, troubleshoot and resolve user support tickets related to developer tools and services, ensuring SLA and customer satisfaction. Provide customer-focused support for developers and internal users of developer productivity systems, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution
• Provision, manage and support underlying AWS-based infrastructure related to developer tooling following DevSecOps approach.
• Automate manual workflows and repetitive tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Software and Platform Engineering, Network, Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure tool configurations support reliable, secure, and scalable software delivery.
• Monitor and maintain the health, uptime, and performance of internal developer productivity systems and services.
• Lead and contribute to evolution, upgrade, improvement and integration of all supported systems, ensuring minimal impact to users.
• Create and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and runbooks for all supported systems.
• Enforce governance policies, access controls, and security standards across all supported systems.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

What we're looking for

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in tooling administration, DevOps, or infrastructure support roles with an emphasis on developer productivity tools and environments.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), JFrog Artifactory, GitHub or similar systems.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services relevant to DevSecOps and developer productivity tools (e.g. EKS, Lambda EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD practices.
  • Proven ability to provide customer support for technical tools, resolve tickets, and deliver high-quality user experiences
  • Incident response and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Teamwork: Collaborative and self-driven mindset; ability to work independently while partnering effectively across engineering, operations, and security.

Complementary skills

• Proficiency in software development and programming languages like Java, Ruby, Kotlin, Go
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure software development pipelines.
• Experience with SSO/identity integration (e.g., MS Entra).
