Responsibilities
The Senior Manager will be responsible for operational oversight and maintaining books and records for Oaktree Employee Investment Fund, Long-Term Incentive (LTI), Employee Loan, and Co-investment Program.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversight of the Employee Investment Fund Operations team
- Monitor and reconcile daily cash and investor capital activity in Employee (Delaware and Cayman) Feeder Funds;
- Manage daily cash needs, forecast potential shortfalls due to capital call fundings, and coordinate with Oaktree Treasury to secure funding for Employee Feeder Funds;
- Coordinate with third-party banks and lenders to meet all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines;
- Oversee the daily operations and administration of borrowings and repayments under the Citi Loan Program, as executed by the team;
- Oversee the launch of new fund series under Employee Feeder Funds, ensuring operational readiness, legal compliance, and smooth investor onboarding;
- Prepare quarterly consolidated investment statements for Oaktree employees, including executives and directors
- Conduct quarterly reviews of investor capital account statements and analyze performance metrics;
- Review monthly audit packages prepared by the team to ensure accuracy and completeness, including capital activity, income and expense accruals, and investor allocations;
- Review and/or prepare quarterly capital activity statements for Oaktree employees and calculate net cash settlements on capital activities between Oaktree and employees;
- Oversee the review and approval of capital activities, including complex capital calls, distribution allocations, and investor notices;
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP;
- Coordinate audits with external auditors;
- Review monthly close reports for Oaktree’s Long-Term Incentive Program;
- Prepare quarter-end preliminary and final deliverables for the Long-Term Incentive Program for Corporate Accounting, Treasury, and Finance;
- Prepare and analyze employee AUM and executive capital activity for inclusion in 10-K filings;
- Develop operational checklists and procedural documentation;
- Provide clear guidance and direction to staff on technical and investor-related issues;
- Proactively identify and suggest improvements to streamline workflows and automate manual reporting;
- Participate in projects and continuous process improvements for key deliverables;
- Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency; and
- Support various ad-hoc assignments and special initiatives when required
Qualifications
- 8+ years of analytical experience within a professional firm; CPA is a plus
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
- Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems
- Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor or similar accounting systems is a plus

Base Salary Range
$120,000 - $165,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
