What is the job about?

A Technical Key Account Manager are the pump solutions specialist to the IT Cooling customers’ technical staff and play a pivotal role in maintaining Grundfos as the preferred supplier with Multinational OEMs or 1’st Tier system builders. As an expert within the field the role is to be engaged within specifications, R&D and Project management to ensure the optimal solution for the customers.

The role is based in INDIA with a global work scope.

Main responsibilities:

Proactively working with customers’ current and future needs, i.e.:

  • TKAM is part of the Global Key Account Team which works with global customers.
  • TKAM will pair up with the Group Key Account Managers to serve the customers’ technical interfaces, typical R&D, Project management, Quality, Test and Specification functions.
  • The goal is to ensure Grundfos is continuously engaged in the customers’ specification and road mapping activities, and through a close customer collaboration providing the best on most competitive pump solution to their applications.
  • With technical expertise and customer support, make Grundfos the obvious choice and preferred advisor for our Group key account customers.

Reactive (The aim is to minimize this part)

  • TKAM will be responsible for orchestrating customer service in case of quality issues regarding product and applications and therefore the following warranty and service.
  • By being the focal point of handling customer service, it is of great importance that the TKAM can interact with several stakeholders within Grundfos but also within the customers organization – hence your technical competence is highly needed.
  • Conduct Customer specific training and introduce new products and solutions.

Your Background:

  • A degree in engineering, ideally in the fields of Thermal management / Cooling related sectors.
  • Basic commercial understanding and experience from customer-facing roles, preferably in key account management of multinational customers.
  • Existing network in the Temperature Control sector is a major plus.
  • Experience in automation and communication protocols.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Good IT skills (MS Office, Outlook, SAP CRM, PDM and other relevant tools).
  • Fluent in English, preferably also other major languages.
