Job Description

The role of Production Assembler involves working within a dynamic team to manufacture medical devices. The successful candidate will operate across various stations in the assembly line, with comprehensive training provided over 2-3 months. This position requires adherence to detailed written English instructions and the use of small hand tools for assembly tasks. Additionally, the role includes occasional work in a clean room environment, where candidates will stand for the entire shift while performing tasks such as labeling and packaging.

Pay

• $19.71/hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 7AM-3:30PM

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to complete production orders efficiently across 13 stations.
• Follow written English instructions to assemble units using small hand tools.
• Work at a station alongside team members and independently as required.
• Maintain a fast-paced workflow to ensure continuous product output.
• Participate in clean room operations on a rotating schedule, performing tasks like labeling and sealing packaging.

Essential Skills

• Valid visa for 2 years from the date of hire.
• 1 year of recent experience in a similar assembly environment.
• Proficiency in using small hand tools such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers.
• Capability to work with small pieces and parts during assembly.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and good English communication, both verbal and reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Engineering background is a plus.
• Experience with soldering and PCB assembly in a regulated environment.
• Ability to read soldering instructions and match numbers to wires.

Work Environment

The production environment is clean and diverse, fostering a sense of pride in building products. The team is hardworking and focused, embracing all backgrounds. The dress code is casual, but cosmetics and jewelry are not permitted in the clean room. The production floor comprises about 60 people, with shifts running from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Eating, drinking, and use of phones are restricted on the production line.
