TITLE: BSW Embedded Software Engineer –OTA and Diagnostics Engineer

DUTIES: BSW Embedded Software Engineer – In-Vehicle Over-The-Air (OTA) is responsible for Implementing FOTA, AOTA, and diagnostics software running on the embedded target platform for domains including SAE Level 2 and 3 automated driving features, infotainment, and instrument clusters; Designing and developing features FOTA/AOTA/MOTA software, device to cloud communication, system diagnostics, communication protocols, cybersecurity, and other control functions, utilizing C/C++/Python, on embedded target platforms running Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) including QNX and Linux; Developing and maintaining OTA software on vehicle system components; Developing AUTOSAR software components and generating and integrating ARXML files; Leading system interface design activities and resolution of integration issues; Participating in and lead design and code reviews; Designing and implementing unit test framework for developer testing activities and integration with Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines; Participating in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Sprint/Program Increment (PI) planning, SCRUM, and continuous improvement tasks.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering or related and 5 years of experience in job offered or related position in Embedded Software. Experience must include: software development using C++ and Python; experience with end-to-end Over-The-Air (OTA) updates and diagnostics development in the automotive industry; experience in middleware architectures including Classic/Adaptive AUTOSAR; experience with communication protocols including UDS (ISO 14229-1), DoIP, OMA/DM, MQTT, SOME/IP,HTTPS, FTPS,CAN, Ethernet, etc.B16; experience with GitHub, DaVinci Adaptive, CMake, Bazel build and Conan.

OTHER: Job Site: 800 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. 40 hours/week. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S.
