Reports to the Assistant Director for Public Services, primary responsibilities include providing high-level legal research support to students, faculty, and staff of the College of Law. In addition to other library users, using complex problem-solving skills and in-depth knowledge of legal resources and research strategies. This support may include classroom presentations and other instructional sessions, individual research consultations, and the creation and maintenance of supporting materials such as online research guides. Responsibilities also include providing support to the circulation department as needed such as assisting in providing services at the circulation desk. Further responsibilities include participating in other projects as assigned such as coordinating student outreach activities, helping to organize library surveys and focus groups, and assessing library collections.
Responsibilities:
Required: Master's degree in Library Science, excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate well with students, faculty, and staff
Desired: Juris Doctor degree or significant experience working in the Moritz College of Law Library.
Please note this position is a part-time temporary position, 15 hours per week.
