Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or a closely related field.

Job Description:

This is a research-oriented position, which will assist ongoing projects studying host-pathogen interactions that regulate infections caused by oncogenic and other pathogenic viruses. We employ a multidisciplinary approach in our studies, incorporating microbiology, molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, and immunology assays.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and support daily laboratory operations, including organizing and maintaining lab supplies
  • Work with human cell lines
  • Perform recombinant DNA techniques
  • Isolate and analyze proteins, DNA, and RNA from cells
  • Maintain detailed, accurate experimental records

On-site training will be provided; however, prior laboratory experience is highly desirable. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to scientific rigor are essential.

Expected Salary:

$18-$20 per hour, commensurate with education and experience

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or a closely related field.

Preferred:

Basic laboratory skills are preferred.
