Job Description:
CRM Developer (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Client: Top 5 Bank
Contract Terms: 6 month rolling contract to hire
Location: Downtown Toronto (hybrid model 1-2 days a week)
Role Overview:
- This team is responsible for developing and managing campaign execution of client leads that increase client engagement, client acquisition and client retention for business lines such as Credit Cards, Deposits, Lending, Insurance through various channels such as Branch, Call Centres, Email, SMS (tethered and untethered) etc.
- You will also be responsible for providing analytical support to determine campaign opportunities, building contact programs and direct marketing campaigns to enhance client relationships and drive customer acquisition and retention of products and services.
- Leverage client information and product data to analyze client information and banking behaviour to prepare pre-campaign analysis for the purpose of sizing and creating client contact programs and direct marketing campaigns.
- Manage and drive the technical design, development, execution, quality and ongoing management of new and ongoing internal and external campaigns for business partners.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building out the Salesforce Marketing Cloud solution
- Hands on SFMC Journey Build experience
- SQL and Relational Database experience
- Hands on experience with campaign execution, gather requirements, get approvals
- Collaborate with different teams within marketing group
- (IBM Unica is a bonus)
- Define and document the technical design, technical requirements, development, execution and quality of medium to high complex ongoing and new internal and external campaigns.
- Establish a two-way working relationship with internal partners to solicit their input and feedback on campaign improvement opportunities
- Ensure the direct marketing communications and campaigns are delivered through the appropriate channels to maximize campaign effectiveness and seamless delivery to clients
- Leverage analytical partners including Client Insights (modeling team), Campaign Analytics and Client Reporting to improve and enhance contact programs and direct marketing campaigns
- Contribute to requirements to enhance and develop internal and external communication channels
- Manage small to medium size projects associated with client contact and direct marketing
- Conduct campaign audits, review data outputs and review lives to ensure campaigns are developed and delivered without errors
- Monitor and track process issues and make recommendation to streamline, enhance and improve overall processes
- Lead the development of campaign process improvements
- Trouble shoot issues to ensure the lead generation cycle remains on track and provide support to address client issues for immediate resolution.
- Building a solid understanding of your designated business partner group(s) & businesses to recommend client specific approaches to improve and enhance direct marketing campaigns.
- Provide training and support to new hires and support other Senior Consultants and Senior Analysts to help grow and develop their capabilities
Must-have requirements:
- 3-5 years of Campaign Marketing experience
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Build experience
- SQL and relational database experience

- CDC (Salesforce Data Cloud) – (40% of campaign builds are Salesforce Data Cloud and 60% in Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Calculated Insights within Salesforce Data Cloud
