Job Description

Commercial and Money Movement Solutions Product Development (CMS PD) is a strategic organization within Visa’s broader Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) division. It was established to support Visa’s expansion into new money movement flows—such as B2C, P2P, B2B, and G2C—and to capture the significant business opportunities these represent. CMS PD is responsible for delivering innovative capabilities across platforms like Visa Direct, B2B Connect, Spend Clarity for Enterprise, and Visa Government Solutions, enabling seamless and secure movement of funds across the globe.

The CMS PD PMO (Project Management Office) plays a pivotal role in driving execution excellence across this portfolio. The team supports strategic initiatives and marquee programs by ensuring alignment, governance, and delivery across global and regional stakeholders. It collaborates closely with Product Development, Product Management, Operations, Cybersecurity, Client Services, and Enterprise Functions to streamline execution and accelerate time-to-market . The PMO also leads business operations innovation, including the use of GenAI to automate reporting for the Technology Leadership Team and to scale portfolio-wide scorecards. These efforts enhance visibility, reduce manual effort, and improve decision-making across CMS PD.

Technical Program Manager for Commercial & Money Movement Solutions Product Development team, the position will be the PMO lead for Team of Teams (TofT) working alongside a group of product development teams that participate in Agile execution and delivery on product development initiatives. This role will provide oversight and governance on delivery of all initiatives as well as collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless and timely planning, prioritization and execution. This role is critical for a successful delivery of the FY25 and beyond objectives and milestones for the product & technology roadmap. TofT PMO lead should be hands on with the use of tools that are used in planning, execution and reporting for Agile/ scrum delivery. He/She should be well versed with industry best practices on use and adoption of Agile execution in an enterprise setting.

CMS PD Technical Program managers are highly influential and impactful leaders, building bridges & tunnels across Visa to ensure that our initiatives are effectively conceived, elaborated, prioritized, designed, developed, tested, integrated, and deployed with quality and on time delivery into our production systems and released to our end users. The ideal candidate will have a solid experience with cross-functional team leadership, technology/product program management, release management, Lean-Agile methodologies, cross-functional team leadership, as well as superb skills in communications, data analysis, problem-solving, cross-team coordination, governance, and change management. The ideal candidate is not just a facilitator or project plan tracker but ensures that things get done. The person should display a drive to get things done, possess a can-do attitude, a growth-oriented mindset, a process-focus and an ability to deal with ambiguity. Candidates need to be technology literate and be willing to learn new technologies, optimize processes, implement efficiencies and to multi-task, and manage through influence, complex and matrixed collaboration, data analysis, problem-solving, process & data-driven decision making, change management and communication across global time zones.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications

  • English fluency required.
  • 5+ years of work experience in technical program management or software development with a Bachelor s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience.
  • Agile Lifecycle Management tool (Jira, Jira Align, Rally) and PPM (Clarity, Primavera, HP PPM etc.).
  • Scaled Agile Certification (SAFe for Teams, Leading SAFe, Implementing SAFe, SAFe for Release Train Engineers).
  • Experience with project management and reporting tools (e.g., Clarity, Rally, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, JIRA Etc.)

Experience with productivity and collaboration tools, including Share point, Microsoft Teams, Wiki pages, Microsoft 360 copilot etc

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program management professional (PgMP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience with JIRA Align, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Experience with project management techniques software development lifecycle in a Fin-Tech background scrum or agile experience.
  • Experience with productivity and collaboration tools, including Share point, Microsoft Teams, Wiki pages, Microsoft 360 copilot etc.
  • Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning to improve. effectiveness of the Product delivery.
