Detailed Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Forms developer for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle Forms and Reports applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Forms (10g/11g/12c/14c), PL/SQL, and Oracle Database. The developer will work closely with business analysts and other developers to support critical enterprise applications as well as to fix the issues during the forms upgrade from 6i to 12c to 14c.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle Forms and Reports applications.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Oracle Forms/Reports systems.
  • Write and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, functionality, and data integrity issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Work closely with QA, business analysts, and end-users to ensure proper application functionality.
  • Migrate and upgrade Forms applications (e.g., from 10g/11g to 12c or 14c).
  • Integrate Forms applications with WebLogic Server and other middleware components.
  • Maintain documentation related to software design and implementation.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Oracle Forms and Reports (10g/11g/12c/14c). • Proficient in PL/SQL and SQL development.
  • Experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
  • Knowledge of WebLogic Server configuration and deployment.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and provide technical solutions.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Forms to modern UI migration strategies is a plus.

Desired Skills:

  • OCI Certification Foundation / Architect / professional is added advantage.
  • Willingness to Travel both domestic or out of the country.
