Job Description

  • Install, configure, and maintain scalable network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Design and implement secure network access solutions and managing security policy using Cisco ISE to meet organizational requirements.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate and partner with other IT platform teams to support and optimize network operations and engineering.
  • Implement and manage network security architecture including network security patching and upgrades, security baselines, compliance, and hardware and software maintenance.
  • Provide level 2/3 escalation support and troubleshooting to resolve ServiceNow incidents and tasks.

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, networking administration, information technology, or a similar field preferred.
  • 5 + years of experience in Enterprise Networking.
  • 2 + years of experience with Cloud PaaS and/or IaaS (Azure).
  • Strong understanding of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) administration.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN.
    • CCNA / CCNP / CCIE certification preferred.
    • Routing Platforms - Cisco ISR, ASR, CSR.
    • Switching Platforms - Cisco Catalyst & Nexus.
  • Knowledge of Network Security, VPN, ACL, DMVPN, IPSEC, NAC, MAB, DOT1X, and Encryption Standards.
    • Security Platforms - Cisco Firepower Threat Defense, ASA, Secure Firewall Management Center.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud Networking, Fundamentals, and Security best practices Public (Azure) and Private (Kubernetes) Cloud Technologies.
  • Knowledge of Azure architectural principles and key networking services such as MS Azure VNET, VNET-Peering, Private Link, vWAN, Express Route, Firewall, Load Balancer.
  • Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM).
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to identify, deploy, and manage complex networking systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Target salary range $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
