Help Desk, Information Specialist I
Pay: $25.95+/hour DOE
JOB SUMMARY:
As the first of two Help Desk levels, this position is primarily responsible for supporting the company leasing program, triaging calls/emails/IM’s, and entering open tickets into the incident tracking database.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides tier one support by taking initial calls/emails/IM’s, recording issues in tracking system.
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to next level of support
- Participates in the company lease program by maintaining accurate inventory levels, receiving equipment, distributing equipment to users, and preparing and packing equipment for vendor return, ensuring timely delivery.
- Responsible for basic troubleshooting and machine set-up, following department standards.
- Routinely follows standard processes and procedures and seek ways to improve daily work and streamline processes.
- Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services.
- Maintains a high level of customer service and attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to troubleshoot basic user issues along with the ability to prioritize issues and tasks.
- Working knowledge of help desk and IT functions, software, hardware, and peripherals.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment with a strong focus on customer support.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Education and Experience
- This is an entry level position, but requires basic knowledge of software applications, desktop setup, cabling, and general troubleshooting.
Pay: $25.95+/hour DOE
