TOOL & DIE MAKERS

DIRECT HIRE

Tool and Die Makers are needed for a well-established manufacturing company in Lake Zurich. This is a DIRECT HIRE position. The hours are Monday-Friday from 2:00pm-10:30pm with overtime! The pay is negotiable based on skills and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Tool and Die Maker:

• Set-up and perform machine and bench operations
• Complete all necessary designs, alterations, and repairs on tools, jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, and gauges of difficult design that are used to cut, form, and shape metals and other materials
• MUST HAVE knowledge of standard tooling equipment and ability to apply algebraic and geometric formulas

Qualifications of a Tool and Die Maker:

• MUST HAVE knowledge of standard tooling equipment
• MUST be able to apply algebraic and geometric formulas
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• MUST HAVE 2+ years of on the job training/apprenticeship
