Schedule is Mon - Fri, 6am - 6pm, as well as some Saturdays.
The goal is to transition into full-time employment
This position will include the following, but not limited to this list:
- Training for the assigned mill floor position. Both verbal and interactive.
- Introduction explaining the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) along with safety instructions specific to the position.
- Learning the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for the position.
- Inspect machinery and workstations, including a responsibility for keeping one's area clean.
- Perform preventative maintenance on necessary equipment and components to ensure operations continue in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
- Working towards filling customer orders.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds with proper ergonomic form.
- The ability to meet the physical demands of working in a manufacturing plant environment to include the ability to work without sitting (other than breaks) for entire shift.
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to adapt to change
- Proven ability to accurately and consistently execute complex and detailed processes and procedures.
- Positive attitude, self-starter and a willingness to work with teammates.
WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
- Seeking full time employment.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, multiple shifts and weekends.
- Monday through Friday, times may vary.
- At times, may require Saturdays.
