About This Role:

Slalom is looking for a strategic, data-driven, and technically fluent Director of Web Experience to lead the evolution of Slalom.com. This leader will be accountable for optimizing our website to deliver an experience that authentically represents Slalom’s value to customers—while converting visitor engagement into high-quality leads and sales meetings.

This role leads the performance of our website ecosystem. They are accountable for the feature roadmap, technical platform (AEM), and measurable impact from the site on marketing outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in digital channels, website architecture, and web-to-lead optimization, along with a forward-looking perspective on how AI and automation can improve both internal web operations and external visitor engagement. This position requires close collaboration with partners across UX/UI, brand, and content to integrate enhancements aligned to the broader creative direction and marketing strategy.

What You'll Do:

Web Experience & Conversion Optimization

• Set the direction and priorities for Slalom.com to serve as a high-performing, conversion-optimized digital property.
• Build and maintain a website roadmap that increases engagement and drives actions such as form fills, meeting requests, and priority content consumption.
• Use AI-driven insights and digital performance data to optimize SEO, content discoverability, and personalized experiences.
• Monitor and improve web-to-lead funnel performance, partnering with Sales to connect site activity with pipeline generation.
• Establish and track KPIs that measure both top-of-funnel engagement and downstream conversion success.
• Leverage experimentation, A/B testing, and behavioral analytics to drive continual improvement.

Technical Platform Leadership

• Lead all aspects of platform performance and infrastructure, owning the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environment and directing backlog execution.
• Integrate AI and automation tools to increase efficiency in areas like SEO auditing, page optimization, tagging, and back-end workflows.
• Ensure enterprise-grade standards are met in architecture, governance, accessibility, and compliance.
• Oversee SEO implementation and adapt site performance strategies to align with the changing landscape of AI-powered search (e.g., Google SGE, ChatGPT plugins, Bing AI).
• Manage development partners and internal technical contributors to support timely feature delivery and platform stability.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Collaborate with UX, brand, and content leaders to align technical updates with the creative vision and marketing strategy for Slalom.com and other digital properties.
• Partner with demand generation and campaign teams to surface the right Slalom services, offers, and assets across the site to drive engagement and conversion.
• Share insights, priorities, and performance outcomes with senior business partners, including the CMO and executive stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Execution

• Lead a team of developers and technical web professionals executing on the roadmap.
• Serve as the program lead for web enhancements, managing prioritization, timelines, and cross-functional coordination.
• Drive agile-inspired practices in planning, reporting, and iterative release cycles.

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years in digital marketing, web strategy, or digital leadership roles with measurable impact on business outcomes.
• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise content management systems—Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred.
• Strong understanding of digital channels and demand generation, including SEO, user engagement, lead capture, and pipeline influence.
• Hands-on experience using analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics) and performance data to drive website decision-making.
• Experience implementing or using AI tools to enhance SEO, personalization, automation, or content visibility.
• Familiarity with agile or iterative development environments.
• Ability to translate technical concepts and performance metrics into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing external development partners.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range is $148,000 to $200,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
