This role is instrumental in ensuring the planning, execution, and monitoring of ticketing and access control systems, contributing to a seamless guest experience and overall event success.
Reporting directly to the Senior Technical Operations Manager, the Junior Project Manager will assist in coordinating cross-functional tasks, managing ticketing workflows, supporting the deployment of ticketing platforms, and ensuring that all ticketing-related milestones are met. This is a dynamic opportunity to grow within a high-performing, global events team and gain hands-on experience in large-scale event ticketing and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Ticketing Coordination: Support the end-to-end planning and execution of ticketing operations, including timelines, system configuration, and stakeholder alignment for hospitality programs.
- System Implementation: Assist with the setup, testing, and launch of ticketing systems (e.g., ticket issuance, scanning devices, access control) integrated with hospitality platforms.
- Cross-functional Communication: Act as a liaison between internal teams (ticketing, IT, guest services, event operations) and external vendors to ensure smooth implementation and coordination.
- Access Control Planning: Help develop access strategies and credentialing plans for venues, ensuring ticketing systems align with operational readiness and security protocols.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ticketing workflows, issue logs, and system configurations. Prepare reports for leadership on ticketing performance and system readiness.
- Logistics & Scheduling: Coordinate logistics for ticket distribution, system testing, staff onboarding, and event-day operational support.
- Issue Tracking: Monitor and log technical or operational issues related to ticketing, escalate where needed, and follow through to resolution.
- Process Optimization: Contribute to the continuous improvement of ticketing workflows, guest access experience, and data accuracy across systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or project management, ideally within ticketing, event operations, or hospitality environments.
- Familiarity with ticketing or access control systems (e.g., Eventim, Ticketmaster, Secutix, TixTrack, RFID/NFC platforms) is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Asana, JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with an eye for detail in data and systems configuration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a proven ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a collaborative, can-do attitude.
- Enthusiastic about learning in a fast-paced, global event environment.
