Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Windows File Server Administration Windows Administration and VDI - Windows Virtual Desktop. Experience in Supply Chain Management is a plus. The role involves day shifts with no travel required. Proficiency in English is essential.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Windows File Servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
Oversee the administration of Windows environments ensuring system integrity and compliance with company policies.
Implement and manage VDI solutions specifically Windows Virtual Desktop to enhance remote work capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing infrastructure.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and improve user experience.
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability.
Conduct regular system audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
Document system configurations and procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in cloud environments.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes and workflows.
Qualifications
Possess strong expertise in Windows File Server Administration and Windows Administration.
Demonstrate proficiency in managing VDI solutions particularly Windows Virtual Desktop.
Have a solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
Experience in Supply Chain Management is a plus enhancing domain-specific solutions.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Communicate effectively in English both written and spoken.
Certifications Required
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
