We're seeking a Data Architect in Ecuador to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance data solutions that support both internal operations and client-facing applications. You must be highly proficient in advanced SQL Server architecture, development, and optimization techniques.

YOU WILL:

  • Administer and maintain Windows server environments.
  • Manage and monitor virtualization platforms including Nutanix, VMWare, and HyperV.
  • Design, implement, and support Azure cloud architecture, networking, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls and network security protocols.
  • Automate infrastructure processes using Azure Automation.
  • Support cloud networking operations and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues across environments.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively using backlog management tools and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Document system configurations and procedures for internal use.
  • Participate in audits and reviews of cloud and infrastructure systems.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server (2016 or later), including database architecture, administration, and advanced development.
  • Expert-level skills in T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, indexes, and query tuning.
  • Proven experience with ETL development, data warehousing, and analytics frameworks.
  • Solid experience with CLR (Common Language Runtime) integration within SQL Server.
  • Strong knowledge of middleware integration concepts (e.g., service buses, APIs, messaging systems).
  • Ability to debug and step through complex data and code issues in a structured manner.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
