The Broadcast Engineer for the Office of Strategic Communications & Civic Engagement is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment used in the production and transmission of the City’s broadcast signals. This role ensures the reliability and quality of broadcasts by managing and troubleshooting technical issues across various platforms, including television, radio, and digital streaming. The Broadcast Engineer works closely with production teams, IT staff, and other technical personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Additionally, the Broadcast Engineer will oversee the Public Access Studio based in the Main Library and will work with Library staff to support community producers’ use of that space.
