The Health Program Specialist II plays a pivotal role in enhancing outcomes for the Commission's grants and contracts, ultimately contributing to the well-being of Californians. This includes conducting specialized studies, providing oversight and support to grantees and contractors, developing training programs, ensuring policy compliance, and designing interventions to address deliverable challenges. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify improvement areas and implement strategies that promote innovation and inclusion in behavioral health services across the state.
Under the general direction of the Deputy Director, Administrative Services and Performance Management, and Staff Services Manager II, the Health Program Specialist II will perform the following duties:
