The Cleveland Clinic is seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to join their Staff and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), supporting the wellbeing of our healthcare workforce. This position requires a licensed mental health professional. You will play a key role in supporting Cleveland Clinic employees and their families, aligning with our core values of empathy, quality and safety, and teamwork.
The primary responsibilities of this role involve providing expert consultation to leaders throughout the organization on EAP support services and delivering educational initiatives regarding Cleveland Clinic's EAP program and related topics. In addition to these duties, the role includes crisis intervention, assessment, case management, referral services, and brief solution-focused counseling. While counseling is not the primary focus, there is potential for more of this work as the integration efforts continue.
The ideal candidate will also provide on-site support following critical incidents or caregiver losses. This role requires a balance of empathy, assertiveness, and confidence. The position is located across two key Florida locations, with the potential for travel across the region. The term "caregiver" in this context refers to employees who are supporting others in their personal or professional lives, and not to those caring for aging family members, as the term can have different meanings in mental health contexts.
This is a 100% on-site role that will work at both locations between Martin and Indian River.
