Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, pytest, JUnit).
  • Experience in any one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
  • Experience with debugging and troubleshooting software issues.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working on data center products and software systems.
  • Knowledge of interconnected software systems that interact with hardware.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and different testing methodologies.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders in a fast paced environment.
  • Passion for quality and automation, demonstrated by a record of helping deliver software product features/consumer devices.

Responsibilities

  • Define test strategy, lead and review test plan development based on Product Excellence/test strategy. Lead the test effort for projects, managing planning, organization, execution, and delivery.
  • Identify gaps, risks, suggest process and validation improvements, work with technical and non technical stakeholders to improve overall data center workflows that are guided by various software systems and tools.
  • Develop data center software systems and tools, their functionality and usage by various teams.
  • Automate test procedures/test scenarios, work with engineering teams for possible improvements to the DC software systems. Identify and implement improvements to the testing process, and advocate for best practices.
  • Guide testing execution, perform quality analysis, analyze results. Communicate the testing results to stakeholders, contribute and influence software product design, testability, usability and product deployment.
