Amazon Transportation Services Supply Chain Manager:

Role Overview: We seek a dynamic, self-starting Supply Chain Manager with high attention to detail to improve our transportation services. The role focuses on four key projects within the Less Than Truckload (LTL) business:
1. Onboarding new Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) carriers
2. Optimizing costs within the 3P Cross Dock (3PXD) program
3. Owning sustainability efforts
4. Partnering with teams to reduce Off Manifest costs in the LTL network
This position requires working across multiple teams, driving projects both independently and collaboratively.
Core Project Ownership:
1. 3P Cross Dock Program
o Work with large LTL and Truckload (TL) providers to grow and manage the program
o Conduct cost analysis using strong analytical skills
2. Carrier Onboarding
o Partner with major U.S. trucking companies to onboard to Amazon TL and LTL Inbound program
o Manage EDI onboarding and carrier setup (2-3 carriers annually)
3. Freight Class Project
o Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce LTL invoice off manifest within the Off Manifest Reduction project
4. Sustainability
o Negotiate and implement sustainability language in contracts with major LTL carriers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
