As a Middle Mile Network Design PM you will focus on developing and optimizing strategic network design solutions across the MX fulfillment network. The role involves leading complex, cross-functional initiatives to improve network efficiency, cost effectiveness, and delivery speed. The candidate will be responsible for developing long-term network strategies while balancing operational constraints, cost implications, and service level requirements. This position sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and customer experience, requiring a strategic mindset to optimize the entire fulfillment ecosystem.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance fulfillment network design and performance.
  • Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities in the fulfillment network, focused on customer experience, delivery speed and cost.
  • Develop product roadmaps for network design solutions and innovations.
  • Collaborate with operations, business, and logistics teams to implement improvements.
  • Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) for network efficiency.
  • Create and maintain documentation for network design processes and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.

A day in the life

A day in the life of a Network Design PM might include, but it is not limited to:

  • Review overnight network performance metrics.
  • Check for any critical escalations or system issues.
  • Lead network design initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Present network expansion proposals to senior leadership.
  • Discuss ROI projections and implementation timeline for network changes.
  • Track and solve inquiries from other stakeholders regarding network design, speed, coverage and performance initiatives.

About the team

We are the Fulfillment Experience team! Fulfillment Experience (FX) performs a centralized function supporting the MX Operations with data, plans, and required systems set up, taking care of the full flow of a customer order. FX team’s responsibilities scope covers: Network Strategic Design, Network Transportation Planning, Program Management and External Fulfillment (EF)/Reverse Logistics Operations. Our goal is to develop a supply chain network that delivers customer orders in time, at the fastest, lowest cost, and most reliable way.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience
  • 2+ years of industry work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
  • Experience in MS Access and SQL
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
