Key job responsibilities
As a Front-End Engineer on the CX Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering delightful experiences for AWS customers, standing up services that allow us to move faster and deliver across marketing channels, and collaborating across multiple AWS organizations to ensure we are showcasing the power of AWS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative and engaging customer-facing solutions that leverage the latest front-end technologies and best practices. Your contributions will directly impact the way AWS customers interact with our products and services, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, you will play a key role in streamlining development processes and improving overall team efficiency through the development of reusable components and services.
A day in the life
A typical day as a Front-end Engineer at AWS Marketing CX Engineering begins with a team stand-up to align on priorities and address any blockers. You'll spend your morning collaborating with UX designers on component reviews and diving into code development for high-priority features. Throughout the day, you'll balance writing clean, performant code with collaborative activities spanning multiple teams. You'll participate in technical discussions with our own team as well as other marketing engineering teams, work closely with the design team on new interactive experiences, and engage with stakeholders across AWS to ensure our solutions meet business needs. The role combines focused development time with cross-functional collaboration, requiring strong communication skills as you work with product managers, content strategists, and other AWS teams to deliver technical excellence and new user experiences.

The AWS Marketing CX Engineering team combines Front-end Engineers and Design Technologists focused on maintaining our design system and enhancing customer experiences across AWS digital platforms. Our engineering team is recognized for delivering consistent, high-quality experiences that serve millions of AWS customers daily. Working closely with designers, product managers, and AWS teams worldwide, we translate complex technical requirements into performant, accessible user interfaces. We're seeking a Front-End Engineer to help drive technical excellence through strong code delivery and cross-team collaboration, contributing to both our design system and customer-facing web experiences.
