Job Description Summary

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will take a leading role work in a team responsible of electrical design of medical devices used in ICU and Ward environments, including both traditional bedside wired monitors and emerging wireless ambulatory monitors. Electrical engineering design work is done using Cadence/Altium environments. You will ensure via testing that designs meet all the technical, operational and performance requirements with particular attention to medical device standards for safety and measurement performance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Electronics design ownership in complex medical devices.
  • Leading electronics design including schematics and layout.
  • System level design and testing activities.
  • Solve technical and customer problems together with the hardware team.
  • Co-operation with our HW engineering team using the latest development technologies and tools.
  • Technical leadership and mentoring junior colleagues in the HW team.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in designing high speed digital electronics, analog electronics and/or RF circuits.
  • Experience in analog front end (AFE) ICs and/or analog electronics in applications measuring physiological signals using biopotential and bioimpedance.
  • Deep proficiency in lab test equipment including signal generators, scopes, vector & spectrum analyzers including test automation using eg: NI instruments.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Altium, Cadence or PADS.
  • Ability to design system level components and drive system level engineering excellence.
  • Experience in working in highly regulated business (e.g. automotive, medical preferred).
  • Engineering curiosity and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • EU work permit.

Desirable skills

  • Master´s degree in electronics
  • Experience in automated in-line production test development
  • Experience in EMC and/or RF measurements
  • Experience in latest electronic components and PCB technologies
  • Proven track record with released products
  • Experience in product lifecycle management
  • Experience in working with cross cultural teams
