Job Title: Receiving Clerk - 1st Shift

Job Description

This role involves material handling using a sit-down forklift to move items weighing up to 50 pounds and build pallets. Additionally, the position requires inventory tracking and managing pallet loads using an iPad attached to the forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move and handle materials.
• Lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Build pallets efficiently.
• Track inventory using an iPad attached to the forklift.
• Ensure accurate shipping and receiving processes.
• Maintain general production and inventory control.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift.
• Experience with computer inventory software.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Material handling skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience is beneficial.
• Experience in assembly or related tasks, such as working at retail stores like Best Buy or hardware stores like ACE Hardware.

Work Environment

The position is based in a spacious, well-lit setting within the old Shopko warehouse, featuring large racking and multiple forklifts. The environment is reminiscent of a typical warehouse with wide open spaces, designed for optimal productivity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of De Pere, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $23.00/hr.
