As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in both mechanical and electrical assembly processes. You will utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks, install railings, seats, panels, and other components into transit buses. You will be responsible for modifying and building prototype subassemblies and vehicles, assisting in the completion of prototype builds and assemblies, and performing minor adjustments, repairs, or setups to equipment or machines. Your expertise will extend to handling low voltage (5V-24V) and high voltage (370V) electronics, integrating electronic systems, and managing heavy wiring. You will read schematics to troubleshoot both low and high voltage systems, use multimeters and high-pot testers, modify, build, and validate harnesses, and wire and build functional testing equipment as requested by engineering. You will also collaborate closely with mechanical/electrical design engineering.

You will work Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, South Carolina.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
