Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As the Product Owner, Team Lead – Automation & Compute, you will play a pivotal role in managing IAG’s compute and hypervisor infrastructure, ensuring operational resilience, strategic automation, and platform optimisation. You will lead a team of automation engineers, prioritising work to maximise value and support IAG’s digital transformation.

You will have extensive experience in technology or product management, including solid team leadership experience. You bring deep technical expertise in compute infrastructure and automation. You have a proven track record in stakeholder engagement, commercial negotiation, and contract management, complemented by strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills. Your background includes driving operational excellence and innovation, with experience in financial services and a working knowledge of design thinking. You are a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, a collaborative leader who inspires and influences others, and someone who confidently navigates between technical detail and broader business strategy.
