The Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) at Resolute Rehabilitation at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Round Rock is a standout facility in Round Rock, Texas. It’s part of the ScionHealth network and specializes in helping patients recover from serious injuries or illnesses that have impacted their ability to function independently.

• 24/7 Availability: The unit operates around the clock, ensuring continuous access to care and therapy.
• Specialized Rehab Services: Offers intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy tailored to conditions like stroke, brain injury, orthopedic trauma, and neurological disorders.

How you’ll contribute:

• Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.
• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology Required
• Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure with State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
