What You'll Do:

As a Microsoft Windows and Mobile Client Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, part of a global team responsible for continuous operation, performance and strategic planning of enterprise endpoint infrastructure running Windows and Mobile Operating Systems with a strong focus on device management and hardware integration. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. The position will be primarily responsible for Windows, Android and iOS Operating Systems, Deployment, IoT integration, mobile hardware integration and Cloud Endpoint Management. Beyond endpoint management, this role will enable digital and security focused use cases such as Zero Trust, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mobile labs, wearables, and the Internet of Things (IoT) through collaboration with various departments.

  • Keep up with the latest developments in mobile hardware, software and management technologies to drive innovation and improvements
  • Strong focus on value creation, driving innovation, and enhancing the digital user experience
  • Oversee management of Windows and Mobile platforms, with a focus on enabling effective mobile device operations within a production and manufacturing environment
  • Maintain secure and efficient policies, configurations, and improvements to the endpoint user experience to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Develop and sustain thorough documentation for all procedures, tools, and workflows
  • Offer continuous support and maintenance for endpoint management, resolving issues and implementing improvements as required
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout IT and the enterprise
  • Adhere to ITSM methodology for support requests, incidents, and problems
  • Effectively communicate issues and resolutions

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT), related field, or 6 years relevant IT experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with endpoint devices, management platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Autopatch and Microsoft Configuration Manager.
  • Proven experience in managing Windows endpoints, implementing policies, deployment profiles, OS hardening, and Zero Touch deployments.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Experience with VR/AR, wearables, including sensors, cameras, and other peripherals in a production/operations environment a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, mobile operating systems, and Edge browser
  • Understanding of basic networking and modern workplace concepts
  • Working knowledge of Zero Trust, Smart factory integration and automation
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, IoT technologies, Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Understanding of NIST, CIS, ITIL and ISO
  • Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, OUs, Group Policy Objects
  • Knowledge of Hardware interface drivers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft BitLocker encryption
  • Troubleshooting and support for enterprise, third-party, and LOB client applications
  • Expertise in automation and administration using PowerShell and WSL/CLI.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
