This position is for the third shift, which runs from Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM to 7 AM.
The primary responsibilities of this position include operating various types of equipment and machinery, such as trucks, tandem vehicles, large rubber-tired end loaders, street sweepers, snow blowers for front-end loaders, Dickey-John salt spreading systems, and refuse or recycling packers.
The role involves assisting with snow removal, applying salt and sand, and performing routine manual labor related to equipment operation in construction, maintenance, and service activities. Additionally, the position requires keeping work records and compiling related reports.
This position is essential for the construction, maintenance, and service activities for which the department is responsible.

Candidates must have the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform manual labor for extended periods. They should also be able to tolerate various weather and working conditions, including temperature extremes, odors, noise, and dust.
