Who We Look For

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) business unit within Core Engineering is looking for a highly motivated Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a passion for security, capable of building and maintaining secure systems. Your Impact:

As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our authentication and access control infrastructure. You will contribute to core platforms that support the firm's security and operational requirements for its global technology infrastructure. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical systems such as Cisco ISE, RSA SecurID, and FreeRADIUS. You will coordinate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, understand requirements, and implement features that enable adoption of our services. After you're ramped up, you'll also join our on-call rotation to support our production environments.

How You will Fulfill your Potential:

  • Design, implement, and maintain authentication and access control systems, including Cisco ISE, RSA SecurID, and FreeRADIUS.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures related to authentication and access control.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to authentication and access control systems.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of authentication and access control infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate security solutions into existing infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities related to authentication and access control.
  • Automate tasks related to security administration and monitoring using scripting languages.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to security incidents.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS
  • Experience with Linux server administration.
  • Experience with network security principles and technologies.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:

  • Knowledge of security protocols, such as RADIUS and TACACS+.
  • Experience with CISCO ISE, RSA Securid and FreeRadius
  • Experience with other authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools.
  • Experience with cloud security technologies.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CCNA Security.
  • Knowledge of network access control (NAC) principles.
  • Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA) technologies.
