Job Description

$20 per hour plus commission and excellent benefits

  • Position will be split between the 112-unit apartment community The Plaza at Hazeltine and the 110-unit single family home community Marsh Hollow (the communities are less than 5 miles apart)
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and availability for at least 2 Saturdays per month with 9am-5pm hours

The Leasing Agent facilitates the rental of apartment units to ensure maximum occupancy at all times. Coordinates move-in and move-outs, lease negotiations and renewals, and apartment showings.

  • The Leasing Agent ensures that the paperwork of current and prospective tenants is completed accurately.
  • Typically reports to the Property Manager.
  • Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function
  • Proficient in multiple competencies relevant to the Leasing Agent Job.
  • Represents Village Green at various outside networking & social functions
  • Problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and property management software
  • Customer service-oriented with a passion for helping people find their ideal home
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively
  • In-depth knowledge of local real estate market trends and regulations
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Reliable transportation
