As a QA Engineer, you have a passion for videogames and an eagerness to take on the next big challenge. You will get to support our teams at Next Games and also cross studio initiatives with our sister studio Moon Loot in delivering quality gaming experiences to our players. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining our technical QA strategy, contributing to ensure that our mobile games meet and exceed high-quality standards. You will work closely with our development and production teams, focusing on maintaining the high quality of our games.

NOTE! Due to local summer holidays, we will start reaching out to applicants for this role in the beginning of August.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • work with the game teams to identify and execute opportunities for test automation
  • be a liaison between the game teams and tech teams to optimize Quality Assurance processes and coverage around technical features
  • perform manual testing on select technical features
  • work with technical disciplines to spec and validate new tools
  • communicate, multitask and prioritize with multiple game teams as well as remote/centralized teams

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven experience as a QA engineer or similar role, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in setting up test automation pipelines
  • Experience writing and maintaining test automation scripts
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) and related technologies.
  • Experience with the Unity Test Framework
  • Plus: experience with Typescript and/or other web-based tools; experience with Defold
