We are seeking an experienced and motivated R&D Project Manager to lead and coordinate publicly funded international R&D projects. This role involves end-to-end project management, from proposal development to execution and reporting, with a strong focus on collaboration and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage publicly funded international R&D projects (e.g., Horizon Europe, Eureka, TEYDEB) from initiation to completion.
  • Monitor local and international R&D funding programs and develop collaborative project proposals from concept to submission.
  • Build and maintain sustainable networks with universities and research institutions to foster collaborative R&D initiatives.
  • Oversee administrative processes, audits, and documentation for EU and TÜBİTAK-funded projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Siemens’ internal processes, quality standards, and guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. (MSc and PhD preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in international R&D project/program or process management.
  • Proven experience managing publicly funded international R&D projects.
  • Proficiency in preparing documentation and presentations for publicly funded R&D projects, including internal and external audits.
  • Practical experience with Horizon Europe, Eureka, and TÜBİTAK TEYDEB / ARDEB programs, particularly in administrative project management, proposal writing, and submission.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); experience as a software engineer is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile Project Management and knowledge in Agile Framework ( LeSS, SAFe, XP, Scrum, Kanban )
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong process orientation with a high level of quality awareness.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and methodical in approach.
