Profile Description
We’re seeking someone to join our team as (Vice President) as a Senior engineer who will help build a firmwide AI Development Platform that will aid the adoption of AI capabilities throughout the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience of building software platforms, data engineering, API based development, REST framework etc. Knowledge of AIML and hands-on experience implementing solutions using Generative AI are also preferable. The candidate will have a strong passion for using AI to increase productivity as well as help generate new ideas for product improvements.
Enterprise_Technology
Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanley’s software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database functions.
Architecture & Modernization
Architecture & Modernization Drives development of the global firm strategy to define modern architectures and guardrails to reduce legacy debt, while partnering with app dev to accelerate the adoption of modern capabilities

What you’ll do in the role:
Morgan Stanley has been at the forefront of the AI journey with applications such as Genome and AI@MS Assistant that use AI to provide better, personalized advice to our clients. Generative AI provides unique opportunities to provide new capabilities to the firm's internal users as well as our clients. This role is for a senior engineer who will help build a firmwide AI Development Platform that will aid the adoption of AI capabilities throughout the enterprise.
