Job Description

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Lead and coordinate all activities related to EPCI cost estimation for the project
  • Develop and manage the project schedule, ensuring alignment with FEED and FID timeline

Cost Estimation Oversight

  • Supervise the preparation of detailed cost estimates for engineering, procurement, construction, and installation phases.
  • Ensure estimates reflect current market trends, inflation, exchange rates, and economic indicators.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with JV partners to align on cost assumptions and deliverables.
  • Present and justify cost models and estimates to senior management and external stakeholders.

Risk & Opportunity Analysis

  • Identify cost-related risks and opportunities across the EPCI scope.
  • Recommend mitigation strategies and contingency planning.

Data Validation & Benchmarking

  • Validate cost data using historical benchmarks and industry standards.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in cost breakdown structures and coding.

Team Leadership

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of estimators, engineers, and analysts.
  • Provide mentorship and ensure quality control across all deliverables

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular progress reports, cost summaries, and variance analyses.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated capability across all construction disciplines, including but not limited to civil, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical works—covering Onshore LNG (OLNG), Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO), Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines (SURF), and Gas Export Pipeline (GEP) facilities
  • Understanding of procurement strategies, contract types (EPC, EPCIC), and commercial risk management
  • Experience supporting or preparing inputs for Final Investment Decision (FID) processes
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and FEED documentation also Familiarity with LNG facilities, FPSO, SURF, and GEP systems.
  • Deep understanding of EPCI cost structures, estimation methodologies, and cost breakdown systems (CBS). Experience with cost estimation tools (e.g., Cleopatra, Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, or similar)
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams, Proficient in project planning, scheduling (Primavera P6/MS Project), and resource management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus)
  • Skilled in preparing executive-level reports, cost summaries, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Experience with crib work, wharf pile driving installation, quay supports, mooring systems, slip or dolphin builds, fender pile, bollards, and operation for performing quantity measurement.
  • Ability to work with international clients, government bodies and joint venture partners
  • Demonstrates a high level of self-organization, coordination, and planning.
