DESCRIPTION

DSP (Delivery Service Partner) team's mission is to underpin Amazon's transportation network, handling all delivery types with scalable, innovative, and low-cost operations.

As a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for owning and driving large-scale customer-impacting and long term architecture initiatives, defining and solving endemic problems.

A day in the life

You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of logistics capacity. You will be working with technologies that improve usability, increase resiliency & scalability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
