SENIOR MANAGER/ MANAGER (WORKPLACE DEVELOPMENT)

[What you will be working on]

The Workplace Development division oversees the design and planning, development and upgrade of LTA’s office campuses and transformation of workplaces to embrace the future of work. All of LTA’s office developments and workplaces are required to comply with the latest Government standards and focus on design for sustainability, maintainability, placemaking and enhancing the workplace experience. You will be an integral part of the team working with stakeholders, Consultants and Contractors to deliver these projects and organizational requirements. You will be responsible to:

  • To lead the planning and design of new office buildings, fit-out projects and upgrade of existing office buildings including rejuvenation of adjacent spaces that are maintained by LTA’s in-house Facilities Management team.
  • Lead meetings with multi-Disciplinary Team Consultants, Contractors, relevant external agencies, as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of project requirements
  • Plan and coordinate the procurement process of consultants and contractors.
  • Drive efforts and innovations to create an environmentally sustainable and healthy workplace;
  • Manage all assigned projects from conceptual stage to completion
  • Prepare and put-up budgetary papers and engage approving agencies to obtain budgetary approvals
  • Implement Smart workplace technologies for LTA’s future workplaces
  • Liaise internally with various LTA technical teams for inputs in developing overall design and tender specifications
  • Perform administrative tasks in support of the division, including scheduling of meetings, minutes taking, document management, projects reporting, etc.

[What we are looking for]

  • Knowledge in Architecture or any Building related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the design management of office new build, major A&A or fit-out projects from inception to completion. Those with more experience may be offered a leadership role.
  • Experience in managing public sector office developments will be an advantage
  • Should be familiar with BIM and BCA Green Mark requirements for Buildings and Office Interiors. Holders with Green Mark Accredited Professional Certification will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Planning Act, Regulatory requirements and submission process
  • Good verbal, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills. The role will be required to handle presentations to Senior Management and internal stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills
  • Meticulous, independent, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of Smart Workplace technologies and design for maintainability
  • Good knowledge of Public Sector requirements and construction related procurement will be an advantage
