Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Solution Analyst to collaborate closely with solution architects in defining and designing system architectures for various lending initiatives. This role is crucial in translating business requirements into scalable, compliant, and high-performing technical solutions that support the organization’s strategic objectives. The Solution Analyst will serve as a key bridge between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and delivering value-driven solutions.

Software Requirements

Required Software Skills:

  • Modeling and Design Tools: Visio, UML, or similar diagramming tools
  • Collaboration and communication platforms: MS Teams, SharePoint, Confluence
  • Requirement management tools: JIRA, Jira Align, or equivalent
  • Cloud platforms: Basic familiarity with AWS or similar cloud services (preferred)
  • Documentation tools: MS Word, MS PowerPoint

Preferred Software Skills:

  • Enterprise architecture modeling tools
  • API testing and development tools
  • Data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI)

Overall Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with solution architects to design system architecture for lending products, including loans, credit cards, and related services.
  • Ensure designs accommodate both functional and non-functional requirements such as performance, security, scalability, and compliance.
  • Review, validate, and peer-assess system designs to align with enterprise architecture standards and governance policies.
  • Stay informed about emerging technology trends and advise IT and business teams on their potential impact and benefits.
  • Provide consulting support to business and IT stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in end-to-end project delivery, guiding teams through design, development, and implementation phases.
  • Ensure proposed solutions adhere to strategic architectural roadmaps and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to develop high-quality, sustainable solutions.
  • Contribute to architectural governance processes, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and architectural standards.
  • Assist in designing solutions involving digital wallets, cloud integrations, and mobile connectivity as needed.
  • Support Agile product development by reviewing and refining designs and new feature proposals.
  • Manage workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and work with distributed teams across locations.

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming & Development:

  • Required: Basic understanding of APIs and scripting for design validation (e.g., JSON, XML)
  • Preferred: Knowledge of enterprise programming languages (Java, .NET, Python)

Databases & Data Management:

  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL for data flow and impact analysis

Cloud Technologies:

  • Preferred: Knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, services, and deployment best practices

Frameworks & Libraries:

  • Not specifically required, but familiarity with enterprise integration frameworks and standards is advantageous

Development Tools & Methodologies:

  • Required: Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
  • Preferred: Familiarity with DevOps tools and CICD pipelines

Security & Governance:

  • Understanding of enterprise security standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance controls

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years in IT solution design, enterprise architecture, or business analysis
  • Proven experience in defining system architectures for financial or lending products, including loans or credit card processing highly preferred
  • Experience working closely with solution architects and cross-functional teams
  • Prior involvement in cloud integrations, digital wallets, or mobile-based solutions is an advantage
  • Industry experience in banking, finance, or payments sectors is preferred

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Collaborate with solution architects to create and refine system architecture blueprints
  • Translate business requirements into well-defined technical design artifacts
  • Conduct architectural governance reviews and peer assessments
  • Analyze and validate design compliance with security, operational, and regulatory standards
  • Support agile teams by reviewing upcoming features and development tasks
  • Work with IT SMEs to evaluate technical options, impacts, and benefits
  • Manage architecture documentation, models, and change control activities
  • Provide proactive guidance on best practices, trends, and new technologies
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Prioritize tasks from product backlogs and manage stakeholders’ expectations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields; master’s preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Architecture, or equivalent are preferred
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, system design, and consulting roles
  • Strong understanding of lending domain processes, including loans, credit cards, and digital wallet integrations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, both technical and non-technical
