Job Title: Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect with a degree from a NAAB accredited program to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating architectural models in Revit and managing commercial architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration. These projects range in size from 5,000 to 50,000 square feet and involve sectors such as K12, Civil, Higher Education, and Religious Institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop finished plans, specifications, and material approvals under the direction of more tenured level designers.
  • Communicate directly with mid or senior-level designers and project managers regarding architectural model development.
  • Perform project programming and analysis, site surveys, and documentation.
  • Provide leadership in the production of quality construction documents.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of IBC, accessibility, and local zoning codes in Utah.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, and Rhino.
  • Experience in architectural design, construction administration, design development, and schematic design.
  • Demonstrated history of taking direction well and leading teams.
  • Ability to review and respond to submittals and RFIs.
  • Knowledge of the permitting process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Architectural degree from a NAAB accredited program.
  • 4-7 years of experience in architecture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Work Environment

The role is primarily office-based with a 9/80 schedule, providing every other Friday off. Matching off Fridays with holidays allows for four-day weekends. Employees enjoy PTO ranging from 160 to 200 hours per year, along with 11.5 holidays

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Privately held company.

Depending on years of experience, PTO of between 160 to 200 hours per year.
