Interviews are anticipated within two (2) weeks of closing date.
To provide oversight for all operations for a residential detox and substance use treatment facility.
To assist in applying for licensure and accreditation.
To ensure that all licensing and accreditation requirements are met.
To provide supervision and support to all employees working in this division.
To open and begin operations of a new service line at NMBHI providing both detox and treatment for individuals with substance use disorders.
To supervise all operations of an accredited residential treatment center for substance use treatment.
To ensure a trauma-informed and evidence-based model of care.
To monitor and ensure compliance with financial goals and budgets.
To participate in key leadership activities across NMBHI.
To ensure compliance with all licensing and Joint Commission requirements and standards.
To provide substance use treatment for all New Mexicans.
Master's Degree in Social Services, Hospital Administration, or related field.
Experience with substance use treatment, including across multiple ASAM levels.
Experience with licensing and Joint Commission surveys and accreditation.
Experience supervising and managing large teams.
Experience operating and managing 24-hour facilities.
Dynamic leader who can provide support to a team of approximately 30 staff members.
A Master's degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of professional level experience with a strategic impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling fourteen (14) years may substitute for the required education and experience. A hiring agency will designate a portion of the required experience to include management and/or specialized experience. Any required licensure, certification or registration shall be defined at the time of recruitment and will be in addition to the above requirements.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
