Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Quality Management (QM), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS), and MES Integration Lead Consultant to drive the Quality and Manufacturing Streams of an end-to-end greenfield S/4HANA implementation. This role is critical to enabling seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA, MES systems, and advanced planning capabilities, tailored for the semiconductor foundry environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and integration of SAP QM, PPDS, and MES systems, acting as the primary point of contact for the Quality and Manufacturing teams.
- Define and implement end-to-end processes for Quality Management, Production Planning, and MES integration, ensuring alignment with semiconductor industry standards.
- Collaborate with MES vendors and internal teams to ensure real-time data exchange between SAP and shop floor systems.
- Design and implement PPDS functionalities including finite scheduling, pegging, and heuristic-based planning to support high-mix, low-volume semiconductor manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain master data structures including material master, work centers, routings, inspection plans, and production versions.
- Provide thought leadership and SAP best practices in QM, PPDS, and MES integration.
- Review and validate functional specifications, data conversion strategies, and integration touchpoints.
- Ensure robust quality processes including FMEA, CAPA, audit management, and control plans are embedded in the SAP solution.
- Support integration with upstream supplier quality (e.g., via SAP Ariba) and downstream customer quality processes.
- Guide the project team through all phases of implementation, ensuring successful go-live and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, software partners, and business stakeholders to define the roadmap for QM, PPDS, and MES integration.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to solution architecture and integration.
Required Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of experience with at least 3–4 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations in a global manufacturing environment.
- Deep expertise in SAP QM and PP modules, with strong hands-on experience in PPDS and MES integration.
- Proven experience in semiconductor or high-tech discrete manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of SAP QM processes including inspection planning, results recording, defect management, and quality notifications.
- Experience with PPDS functionalities such as detailed scheduling, planning heuristics, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with MES systems (e.g.,Siview MES) and integration strategies using SAP MII, PI/PO, or BTP.
- Knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and integration with finance and costing.
- Experience with SAP MDG, SAP Signavio, and SAP Plant Maintenance is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and across global time zones.
- Demonstrate leadership in general ability to identify priorities, ability to lead complex topics on a global basis and convince others.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, ability to engage and work in a global team across multiple time zones.
- Experience in working with Agile or similar project management methodologies.
- Flexible to work across global time zones with onshore and offshore internal and partner teams.
