The Opportunity:

As an Enterprise Integrated Broadcast System (IBS) Communications Engineer you will have the opportunity to oversee and design current and future communications architecture s ensuring dissemination of actionable perishable intelligence and operational data to support global national security operations among multiple agencies, producers, and combatant commands.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and subject matter expertise to multiple world-wide UHF Satellite intelligence broadcast concerns including employment, troubleshooting, and trend analysis.
  • Interpret Space weather products for support personnel.
  • Answer Requests for Information (RFI’s) and liaise directly with customers and tiers of support infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies and organizations on dataflow pathways, issues, and informational exchange.
  • Develop and employ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Concepts of Operation documents (CONOPs).

Familiar with DoD Architectural Framework models and viewpoints and their uses in various documentation.

  • Host meetings and synchronizations for current efforts, provide guidance and recommendations to government representatives on best courses of action.
  • Provide systems expertise in modernization efforts including methods for technology advancement into current and projected frameworks.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • BS degree in communications or technical field of study; or 10 years of experience in communications, cryptologic, or electronic warfare in lieu of education
  • Knowledge of DoD Architectural Framework models and viewpoints and their uses in various documentation
  • Direct experience working with the IBS communications and dataflow
  • Experience in developing enterprise documentation codifying concept of operations, concept of employment, and standard operation procedures
  • Expertise in system modernization concepts and methods
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of partner nation missions and assets

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$113,200 - $237,800
