Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Data Analyst will perform professional and technical work in data management, analysis, visualization, and report preparation to support the operations and decision-making of the Supply Chain Team. This role combines business acumen and data analysis to deliver comprehensive reporting and advisory support for branch general managers, supply chain managers, and operations directors.
Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Management team, the Supply Chain Data Analyst will advance Alsco’s digital transformation. The ideal candidate is passionate about data analytics and developing efficient, sustainable solutions. This role offers a pathway to career progression as a Data Solution Architect, where you will design, develop, deploy, and support solutions for North American supply chain planning using Alsco’s selected platform and related technologies.

Essential Functions:
- Planning Data Analysis: Collaborate with the Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and IT teams to develop solutions to rationalize, monitor, and analyze SKUs and data; and use this information to provide insights that can assist in decision-making. Implement best-practice methodologies for system processes and governance while supporting ongoing troubleshooting.
- Master Data Analysis and SKU Rationalization: Audit and correct supply chain master data to streamline automation. Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure integrity and consistency.
- Planning System Development: Utilize configuration and authoring skills to optimize Alsco’s progression in an ERP system. Create and maintain documentation and user guides for system configurations and processes.
- System Performance Management: Monitor system performance and collaborate with IT and users to implement corrective actions.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero-harm behaviors to support our world-class safety culture.

Additional Functions:
- Develop and maintain structured data files and databases.
- Oversee SKU creation and rationalization.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal units and external organizations.
- Prepare and analyze reports as requested.
- Assist the Supply Chain team and staff as needed.
- Collaborate with IT, Marketing, and Supply Chain partners to develop routine and ad-hoc analytical reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Collect and analyze financial data on business unit sales, expenses, enrollment, market trends, demographics, and purchasing patterns.
Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP and/or Supply Chain Planning System programming is preferred.
- Five (5) or more years of work experience in data analytics or business analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Basic understanding of supply chain processes, S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), manufacturing, purchasing, and order management.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business, Finance, Advanced Analytics, or related discipline (coursework in data analytics required). Master’s degree preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional exposure to industrial environments, including noise and dust, during branch visits.
- Must perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently and accurately, with or without reasonable accommodation, without posing significant safety risks to self or others.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Additional role requirements consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching
- overhead, grasping, seeing, reading, speaking, and hearing.
Environmental Conditions:
- Hybrid or remote (2 days/week in-office at the General office or branch; remote otherwise)
- Ability to work in hybrid settings (remote/home office and branch/industrial sites).

- Up to 70% during system implementations / transitions
