Senior Software Developer for Symbology Team

Together with your team, you will be responsible for the continuous development, improvement, and maintenance of our Defence products. Symbology Team builds the app that is used by soldiers in their exercises. It helps bring the strategy defined at higher-level command centers to the battle field soldiers. This app can be found on tablets, cars, and on Android devices. It is widely used in the NATO army.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Your main responsibility is to develop full-stack software applications with a frontend in Angular and Typescript, and backend in Java.
• Troubleshoot, optimize and solve complex problems in an existing codebase;
• Design and implement new features together with our Domain Experts and User Experience engineers;
• Ensure the quality of the solution by reviewing and inspecting the design and code made by your developers colleagues.

You will be part of our MobileX team, which is under our successful Defence business unit. There are 2 teams in Romania, organized in a Scrum methodology with scrum master, QA and full stack developers (all seniority levels) – 7 developers, 1 QA, 1 people&project manager.

What we are looking for:

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a relevant technical university;
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position working with Angular, Java and Typescript;
• We are looking for someone who shares our passion for programming, who is not afraid of complex problems and who is willing to learn and in return help others to grow and improve;
• You are fluent in English and thrive in an international working environment;
