So, what will you be doing as an Inventory Control Clerk?

• Answer daily cycle count.
• Research cycle count variances as necessary and directed.
• Maintain/process accurate inventory records.
• Assist maintaining a clean orderly warehouse, make suggestions as to layout processes, review the areas where application of JIT and Kanban can be implemented.
• Be able to locate and identify slow moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory.
• Maintain Bin inventory.
• Maintain spare parts inventory, including issuance and re-ordering.
• Will inspect items and perform random checks on finished goods as necessary.
• Participate in CI/Quality processes, activities, or teams.
• Maintain product information in computer system.
• Conform to all Safety requirements and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize job responsibilities.
• Must have good communication skills to work with Operation Manager, shift superintendents, and plant employees.
• Knowledge and proficiency Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Understanding of MRP logic.
• Must have the physical ability to lift, stoop, bend and move quickly to perform all physical demands.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must exhibit acceptable attendance.
• Must be able to pass Forklift test.
