Description

We are seeking a skilled Unix System Administrator to manage and maintain our Unix-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system uptime, performance, and security across all Unix systems, while supporting software deployment, scripting, and troubleshooting.

Install, configure, and maintain Unix servers (e.g., Linux, Red Hat, AIX, Solaris).

Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability.

Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly.

Automate routine tasks using shell scripting (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.).

Manage storage solutions, file systems, and user access controls.

Ensure data backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Perform server hardening and maintain system security.

Troubleshoot system and application issues in a timely manner.

Collaborate with development, DevOps, and network teams.
