Job Title: Print Operator

Job Description

Join a dynamic team responsible for creating labels for renowned grocery stores. As a Print Operator, you will be part of the Service Bureau department, primarily handling shelf strips, posters, price tags, and more.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage label and lamination machines.
• Perform set-ups and changeovers of machines.
• Cross-train as a distribution technician, including understanding numbers, picking, and packaging orders.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of previous mechanically inclined duties.
• 6+ months of machine operating experience.
• 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Printing or press experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience in assembly line, inspection, banding, boxing, production, packaging, manufacturing, labeling, quality control, and quality checks.
• Verified work experience with references, showcasing reliability and punctuality.
• Open to candidates with English as a second language; Spanish is acceptable for any shift.

Work Environment

Experience a clean, climate-controlled environment with a production area that is loud with a slight ink smell. The facility accommodates approximately 15-20 people per shift. Composite-toed or steel-toed shoes are required during interviews and shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Century, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
